For the record, 7% fake citations is insanely high - if this had been found before AI it would have been considered a 5-alarm crisis.

These fucking tools are diluting our capacity to respond proportionally.
Also, Every single one of the things AI is cited as useful for would be better served by a good regular search engine. Every. Single. Thing.
