Rhett Shull seems to agree with me re. the bullshit part & also points out the salient point that Fender is clearly trying to "defend" a design THEY DO NOT OWN THE RIGHTS TO!
Also, they keep invoking Leo Fender's name, as if he didn't leave the precursor to today's Fender company 6 fucking decades ago when he sold it to CBS. Turns out FMIC has ghoulishly been trying to take ownership of his name & legacy since his wife's death 🤮
