      @ai6yr The headline is still wrong, though - users can *set a setting which ostensibly stops AI training on their content*, but we have absolutely no reason to trust that Amazon, or indeed anyone else, respects that setting.

      I mean, hell, AI scrapers hoovered up the internet in no small part thanks to blowing past websites' settings to disallow crawling (e.g. robots.txt files) & there' numerous examples of tech corps ignoring user settings for their own benefit.
