I find the question weird. Of course I do. The only reason to hear a piece of music, or look at a painting or sculpture, just once is if you hate it - why should you not re-consume other forms of culture?
Whose idea is it that movies, TV & games should be considered single-use?
Answering that would be more useful, as it might provide clues as to why those of us with habits seen as perfectly normal in other contexts are considered nerds & outliers.

@jwcph Completely baffling to me.
Re-reading e.g. Goethe's Faust at different points in my life was rewarded with completely different insights. For some metaphors and relations I wasn't ready until I had more and different life experiences.
(This goes for many things, not just Faust, obviously.)
There are on the other hands things I would only re-experience when tortured to do so, but that's a different story for a different time
