Finally "finished" setting up the new, rudimentary music player on my website, moving away from embedding SoundCloud / YouTube towards more self hosting/self ownership.
Photos I was already hosting myself.
Now I "just" have to put up more photos, and make more music.
I'd like to move video game collection/ratings over there, too, at some point, and maybe the same for music, but I'm also considering NeoDB for that instead. With the fediverse features, that might be interesting.

Admittedly I've been sort of excusing myself from not making music on the grounds that I wanted a new home to share them on, which reminds me of how me and a group of friends, when we were kids, wanted to make a band, and one of our first points of order were band t-shirts,. The music-making part, combined with our expectations thereof, was a bit too overwhelming, maybe.
Also maybe I should stop writing until I'm self hosting my fediverse platform, hah.
