@sexybenfranklin @holgero @gamingonlinux Biggest problems I had with Librewolf are that timezone spoofing caused calendar apps to display wrong time, and having webgl disabled by default also makes some webs to fail. Both can be toggled on a page by page basis (or globally if you do not care about them), but if you do not know about these issues, it can be confusing seeing some webs not working and not knowing how to fix the issue..
@doragasu how do i change the time zone thing? tried to a while ago but couldnt get it to work. ive just been dealing with it this whole time

@stuartml Zen, based on Firefox but it's better than being built on Chromium...
I've been using it for 1.5 year now and love it.
https://zen-browser.app/@thibaultmol @stuartml Zen is great, although it feels like it's been slowly gaining more and more bugs recently. I didn't bother to check if these are Firefox bugs leaking through or Zen exclusives, having manifest v2 is still more than enough compensation.

@gamingonlinux what the hell Mozilla
@gamingonlinux maybe they should start posting on "truth" social too.
-
@gamingonlinux not surprising. Most corporations are going to remain on Twitter because that is where the biggest reach is. Lets be real, Mastodon/Fediverse doesnt have nearly the reach that Twitter still has
@CathyBikesBook "The neo-nazi bar is much bigger and more popular than the ones run and patronized by more decent people." - I get it, but it makes me sad.

@landelare @thibaultmol I'd also be curious to know if they had a No AI policy

@stuartml @landelare I assume you mean code? no idea, don't think they have one.
Feature wise they tend to disable most if not all of firefox's ai features they add.@Vivaldi is (chromium based and closed source) but
and quite based in many ways, is quite anti ai if that's what you focus on -

@landelare @stuartml Haven't noticed an increase in bugs, I think there was a wave of bugs cause of them replacing certain firefox systems with their own at some point but since then haven't really noticed much

@gamingonlinux So will they be rebranding it to Fashyfox or Firefash?
-
@Fedihacker @gamingonlinux when I first listened to Ligotti's "The Town Manager" I didn't really recognise its analytic and maybe prophetic merits. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hKl_kNXc7Vs
@hllizi Wow, that's either some really shitty audio, or someone who doesn't know how to speak into a microphone, or both.

@hllizi Wow, that's about as useless and meaningless a comment as I could have imagined. It's not even a sentence.

@gamingonlinux So... what changed?

Mozilla are pathetic, Firefox is back to posting on X/Twitter.
@gamingonlinux Waterfox has been a good replacement for me on both Windows and Android, where you can continue to run uBlock Origin forever.

Their biggest mistake is assuming that they’ll be more popular if they go back to xitter.

Vivaldi is a def no...how can anyone possibly trust a closed source web browser based on chromium (google AI now), seems like an oxymoron.

@aerofreak @gamingonlinux They might be. They are trying to bring back the Brave/Gab crowd I guess.
