Pihole on my home server doing an initial clensing by simply not resolving any of the ad providers' URLs, then uBlock on all devices that support it to remove any unsightly residue from websites, and catch anything that Pihole didn't get.

@nazokiyoubinbou @DrewNaylor In my case, I do not publish to the ad supported social media sites or to Youtube/Vimeo/etc. That means instead of "killing the sites I love," adblocking is hopefully helping kill the COMPETITORS to the sites I love.

Mastodon and Archive get a lot more reach if Twitter, FB, Insta, and Youtube roll over and sink
