    My husband got clonked on the head by a small falling branch several hours ago and (feeling very guilty, because I was the one who wanted to go to the park even though the weather was a mess) I've been anxiously monitoring him for any sign something is wrong.

    He sat down to use his computer for the first time since the accident and called out from the other room "something's wrong with my monitor! it's flashing!"

    My heart fucking stopped. I was terrified I'd get out there and nothing would be wrong with the monitor at all and I'd have to call the ER. But no, it really was flashing. Reseating the cable and blowing out the dust fixed it.

    I think that is the happiest I have ever been about a stupid piece of tech junk not !@#$ working.
