Tangential: young people, I am pushing 40 and I am much happier with my appearance now than when I was 20. If what you see in the mirror upsets you, rest assured you haven’t missed your chance to be cute and you still have *decades* to find the right balance of self-improvement and self-acceptance to shine.

(I’m not trans but I’m aware this is very trans-adjacent, so I want to further encourage you that I’ve seen tons of people not start on that journey until later in life and the results are still magnificent)
