This ‘govAI’ trend is still in an early stage, and it could range from AI chatbots on council websites to AI productivity tools for drafting emails or sorting consultation responses.

These uses raise questions around privacy and data protection. How are residents’ data protected and managed when being processed and stored by a black box algorithm? Are there data-sharing risks when it comes to tuning? And is this the most responsible use of taxpayer money?

@privacyint and @downey I respect where you are coming from here, but big oil is far different than Generative AI / LLMs. Oil -- the petrodollar -- is destroying our world. Knowledge, online knowledge, is a vastly different thing. It is serving us directly in a way that oil, coal, and gas -- and certainly tobacco -- is ABSOLUTELY NOT. We need clean energy. We need to annihilate the petrodollar with clean electric energy ... and knowledge. Understand what you are advocating for here. Call me if you want to know more.
