TIL (Today I learned): As part of the EU AI Act transparency rules, the EU has created a Code of Practice on marking and labelling of AI-generated content [1] that comes with icons [2] to use to mark AI-generated or modified content. As they say:

"The use of these EU icons is optional, but the labelling requirements under Article 50 AI Act are not."

@jwildeboer I don't know if this will work against Meta and all those american big tech ghouls. I can only hope this will slow down the horrendous amount of AI slop on the net...

However, i can't trust the EU commission much since the president is a war funder...

This obviously means that I had to make similar buttons to show that I do NOT use AI for my pictures, graphics and written texts 🙂 This will soon be integrated as overlay for the images on my blog 🙂

@AleF2050 According to Le Monde [1]:

"Meta has deployed an "AI Info" label on Instagram and Facebook for posts using the technology. Google has signed the EU code of conduct on AI transparency, and says it is working with others like Nvidia, OpenAI and Apple on digital tagging tools."

@jwildeboer may I offer brainmade.org for a positive instead of negative affirmation?

@jwildeboer The clever part is that AI Bros think AI is a good thing, so will rush to label all their stuff.
