if you're surprised by this, I wonder where have you been living for the last 20 years

facebook is known to publish scam ads and block links to articles that point it out

it is also known to benefit hugely from those ads (over 30% of their revenue)

they will block every attempt that could lead to diminishing their profits, but frankly the only ethical things you can do is to convince people to close their accounts on Meta services and move elsewhere
