I love the framing of this, because I hear shit like "what was she wearing... or she shouldn't have gotten drunk.." like that's the reason it happened. Like boys aren't expected to be able to control themselves. WTF.

@alfiekohn I am also a parent of a boy, and we talked to him about consent VERY early, like in fucking pre-school.
this has to happen from the start, not after they are already pseudo-adults. they aren't gonna change much...
Men, boys, parents of men, parents of boys, we have to do better, not just passive agreement. we have to be outspoken about it. change the narrative.
