@argv_minus_one @benroyce @sundogplanets I remember a conversation I wasn't meant to overhear as a child, in which I was forbidden to be taught about Marie Curie because my father, on obviously no evidence whatsoever, had concluded that she was a fraudulent hoax fronting for her husband's labor.
I wonder how many other male-dominated households something like that happened in. -
