Naw I mean I've always been pretty certain that it's either socialism or goodnight for the species because of climate catastrophe. Some of that is a question of political factors; specifically money = power under capitalism, so the people directing the decisions that currently determine our future are also the ppl most invested in the capitalism that is killing us. But some of it is just "we have created a global problem and we will all have to share and cooperate to solve it."
Or we die.

My belief is that Capitalism is not a good enough deal for the bottom 99.9% of society, that we're prepared to die for it because rich nazis in an actual fucking CULT say so. And at some point, everything I've ever told you over the past 12 years will seem quaint because the obviousness of the factors and solutions will be present to everyone but the rich people you just rounded up and put on trial or whatever.
But some days, my faith does waver a bit. Americans give me a touch of despair s/t.

And well, if we ever figure out how to do a little bit a math, understand that we're all headed for the woodchipper if these billionaires get their way, and work together - we outnumber them by at least 7B people.
This is doable. The math is on our side, even if nothing about the capitalist societies we live in is.
