Yes, because in Trumpworld, those things are completely separate.

Surely from the mouth of a Nazi Catholic under Hitler.
Perfectly intoned by JD Vance.

@samlitzinger the Pope, JD, is not beholden to you *or* your orange master. In any way. And if you keep this shit up, I sincerely hope he excommunicates your miserable self

In Trump world, morality is just a four syllable word devoid of any meaning. -

The pope is sticking to matters of morality, and even holding back there. The Trump is deeply immoral, but the pope only addresses their most stupid war and their lies about religion.
If anything, the pope should speak out more.

@samlitzinger that new book that Vance wrote about his journey to Catholicism is going to be a f****** real good read, because it's quite clear that guy has absolutely no religion or faith in his soul whatsoever, if I was the Pope I'd boot him out of the Catholic faith just before his book drops...

I suspect it's exactly the invocation of god and morality by Trump & co (notably Hegseth in his official capacity) which has attracted the papal repudations. If they don't wanna get pope-blocked, they should stay in their grifty warmongering lane.
