Yes, failed state and the consequences just haven’t all become visible yet. Some of us are very aware that people who have disabilities are finding things are getting worse, faster. Seems to be more and more canaries are found dying in the dark tunnels/mines all across America.

It’s not sustainable. In part, that’s why it’s accelerating: everyone knows it’s not sustainable, so they want to extract everything they can while it’s possible.
