@kottke This reminds me of a term I used to use back when voice-over-IP was the latest buzz word.

I started using what I called IP-over-voice... rather than look it up on the computer myself, I'd call a friend and ask them to look it up for me. I'd tell them "I need help with IP-over-voice..." and then tell them what I needed them to do for me. Usually find an address or phone number or something.

It was a great way to stay connected with your friends. I should do more of that these days.
