Steve, I love your reporting but I can't keep ignoring that you routinely skip adding #AltText to your images. Yours is an important account with 51K+ followers but you are disrespecting a valuable and critical segment of your audience by not including Alt Text #Captions with your posts. There are many people on the #Fediverse that have eyesight problems and they can't appreciate your otherwise-fine reporting. Please be a good #Fedicitizen and add Alt Text to your images.

@newsguyusa Now don’t get me wrong here, I’m not debating those schmucks aren’t Nazis nor that this isn’t exactly what they’re alluding to here, but in case people are not aware: the Iron Cross is still the official emblem as well as the Badge of Honour of today’s German Armed Forces, it’s just a slightly redesigned version…

@newsguyusa
Displaying ignorance like it's a badge of honor.
I'm sure Putin and Steve Bannon are very proud of their propaganda machines and the division they created. Almost impossible to believe they weren't working together. -

@newsguyusa So what's the british word for quisling again...
-
@newsguyusa On the bright side, look how well it worked out for Prussia. What they up to these days?
@pauliehedron @newsguyusa I think they’re busy denying genocide.
-
@malin @newsguyusa The UKIP leader is not well pleased with the response to their new logo.
@tristrambrelstaff @malin @newsguyusa how often were they head butting people that they decided they needed a spike there?

I think it's compensating for something. -

@newsguyusa And this isn’t an „akshually technically“, the German military was never fully de-nazified, there are still numerous barracks, ships, etc. named after „war heroes“, e.g. Erwin Rommel.
It’s a problem and those UK Nazis can simply point to that and say: „so, you’re calling the Bundeswehr Nazis, right?“

-
@newsguyusa That should tell you everything you need to know about them. Problem is the general public is more or less stupid and will sign on with whomever gives them the biggest set of perceived benefits no matter the cost, aka, the usa.
@T2R @newsguyusa
Yep, it'll show up here very soon probably on ICE uniforms. -
@pauliehedron @newsguyusa I think they’re busy denying genocide.
@ahltorp @pauliehedron @newsguyusa The more things change, the more they stay the same.

«However, the party has claimed the emblem features "the holy lance, the Eucharist and the Cross Pattée" adding it is "outright offensive" to suggest the logo is a "Nazi symbol".»
Oh. Okay. That’s sooo much better
@jonathankoren @newsguyusa “ThE swAstiKa Is a sYmbOl oF peAcE!”

@newsguyusa Whelp… as what seems to be verified over time (thinking about the change to X and it “becoming” a porn site)
If it walks like a duck, looks like a duck, & sounds like a duck… then it probably is… a duck
These people make it very obvious what they are & then have a “sheer curtain” of talk, saying “yada yada …we are just trying to think of other viewpoints” or “we are thinking of the common man” when it gets pretty obvious very quickly that they’re thinking about one type of “man”@em_and_future_cats @newsguyusa Especially, as it goes well out of its way to convince people it’s a duck.
“Hey look everybody, I’m a duck! Look at me!
Look at how I waddle! Listen to my quack!”“What?! How very DARE you call me a duck! So much for TOLERANCE!”
-
To me, this is a fair and representative logo for this party.
@jens @newsguyusa Not quite crooked enough.

@skittles @newsguyusa So, what they’re trying to say is that they’re the German party? How are they German? What aspect of Germanness do they associate with?
-
@newsguyusa So what's the british word for quisling again...
@christopherkunz @newsguyusa “Oswald Mosley?”

@newsguyusa Not only an iron cross. In the back of the logo there's a shield and a spear. This is militarized aesthetics.
