@tosbourn if it helps me learn a thing it's an ok search engine replacement since the entirety of society has decided search is broken now and somehow that's ok. It's not writing stuff for me, though, and I will retain – by hook or by crook – economic sovereignty over my own skills.

@rgarner That feels like a very sensible line in the sand.
I've been buying up text books from charity shops that were written just before *all of this* because, well, I'm not sure I trust much of what is online.
