Here's the thing that I think younger trans people don't get about saying "the internet was a mistake".

They have NO IDEA what it was like BEFORE the internet.

Imagine being the only trans person you know for 5 years or more. No resources. No one to ask. No support structure. No idea even how to *express* what you are without inventing the language yourself from first principles.
