It has become quiet around the Smithsonian data since last year, especially since the Library Innovation Lab at Harvard Law took the 710TB of public data:
https://lil.law.harvard.edu/blog/2025/09/18/expanding-our-public-data-project-to-include-smithsonian-collections-data/But we're sure there is more to come, especially with those very bad news...
