    @JeremyMallin it sure makes more sense than vice versa. That Wakefield guy who started this falsehood deserves to burn in hell.

      Stop saying that the link between autism and vaccines is "unproven". It is discredited. It is disproven. Disproven and unproven are not the same thing.

        @JeremyMallin even worse that disproven it was an actual lie with falsified test and the culprit lost his right to even do anything health related.

                @JeremyMallin I know I'm not a scientific study, but I'm autistic and my parents are antivaxers 😬

                  @JeremyMallin what about a link between CO² build-up and autism?

                    @JeremyMallin
                    +1. In the empirical sciences, nothing is proven. A hypothesis can only be falsified. If it fails to falsify, it becomes a theory. But a theory is never proven. And the link between autism and vaccines is falsified ie, not relevant for science.

                      @JeremyMallin yes to all of this and stop implying autism is a bad thing in the first place.

                        @JeremyMallin

                        Actually I don't think "disproven" is the scientifically correct word either.

                        The formally correct statement is... "There is no (statistically significant) evidence for a link"
