@davidrevoy At least there's a scant few recognizing you're the OG, but god, nobody needs to be reminded that they're being aped by that soulsucking shit

@davidrevoy These comments hurt my soul. And not just the "this is AI" but how they must go over the images with a magnifier looking for the tiniest details to criticize. When it doesn't match their expectation of "good art" then it must be AI.

@davidrevoy at least one, or some, of the comments recognised your art as the source?

@davidrevoy I’m sorry you’re getting these comments. Your art is so full of heart I’ve never really thought to compare it to aigen. I don’t see how people see any similarities to be honest.
I love your art, the way you draw fantasy worlds and characters is a big inspiration to me. And it’s so cool to see that you do it all with Krita, it makes me want to give it a go and finally make that switch.

@davidrevoy It's a little your fault, your powered robots when it's forbidden .. 🤪
I very like this drawing. 🤩

@davidrevoy Bleak, actually.

@davidrevoy If these comments are mostly coming from Meta's platforms, it's probably just worth ignoring them altogether. They are obviously having a negative influence on you. And those platforms are full of bots and terrible people anyway. Just post and close the tab.
@faoluin Yes, that's what I'm trying to do. Thank you. But on bad evenings, you know... It's tempting to allow some of my self-destructive thoughts to be confirmed by these, and reading them all became hypnotising. I'll try to develop a thicker skin. Maybe that's just the negative side of attracting a larger audience for my work.

@davidrevoy @gaditb
It's happening to lots of writers. Some forums are nothing but people claiming they put writing through an "AI detector" and the writing is obviously AI. It's soul-crushing, as you well know.The other major group of people getting hit by this, ironically, are computer programmers. People who actually know how to code are being told their code is AI generated even when it's absolutely obvious it's not.
Anyone who creates is damaged by AI - even if they don't use it.

@davidrevoy gods that's rough. Putting all that work and time and love and effort into a thing to just get clocked by the copycat that your the copycat. Its honestly disgusting. And not sure if this is intentional brainwashing.

@davidrevoy @gabrielesvelto As a fellow artist who stopped practicing professionally a few years before this AI shitstorm hit the field, I'm so sorry. This is horrifying.
Artists have always been incredibly undervalued by modern society, but this is a new low. I weep for all my artist friends, and for all the damage this exploitative technology is doing to our world.

@davidrevoy
I hate the assumption that you used AI and not that the AI was trained on your (and others) work.I'm so sorry you have to deal with these kinds of comments

@feff Thank you Feff.

You are assuming these comments come from humans and users are real people.
AI generator content spammers have all the interest on creating FUD and hijacking true people toward fake profiles with fake arts to funneling traffic on their websites.
You are a known artist, if this continue you might be under a fake-users-farm attack

@davidrevoy I'm sure all of these are bots, keep making your art and try read only the comments from intelligent humans.

@davidrevoy Not trying to put it all on you. ^.^ Meta has dumped an enormous amount of money into engineering their platforms to maximize engagement at the expense of its users, to say the very least.
Your artwork is wonderful and you should feel proud of it.

I never at all suspected you of being or using AI.
