the agenda might very well just be paid advertising (which this already is - look at that terribly positive and uncritical description - right after talking about "divisive times" ffs)
I can only hope that it doesn't pay off for them and blender got a bag that warrants this blunder

@Blender Anthropic is a defense contractor and works with the US Government and Palentir to do some absolutely horrific shit. Claudecode was recently used to bomb a little girl's school.
That's just the tip of the ice berg. Anthropic is a really horrible company with no ethics:

As a FOSDEM staff member, I can tell you it's the same thing there. They don't get to dictate anything@thibaultmol @UkeleleEric @eden @Blender
Step1. They send a big loave of cash
Step2. That cash becomes important to your anual budget
Step3. 2-3 years on, they subtly pass the message about their preferences regarding future projects, road mapping, et al (or else funding "could" be "thought about")
Step4. The coin drops in your brain
Step5. You've been taken over and your current working model is fucked (if not the whole endeavour)But probably I'm just being paranoid. It ain't as if... wait
