@pixelpusher220 Used to see him on Hee Haw, and knew he could really play.

@pixelpusher220 I got to hear him play this live, outdoors, at the rodeo in Cheyenne. The crowd went wild. Absolutely unforgettable performance

Klugman looking astonished

@pixelpusher220 I remember him from Hee Haw since my grandmother watched it when I was at her house. This is mind blowing. Didn’t recall The Odd Couple as having such musical interludes, but I we didn’t watch it all that often.

[pixelpusher220@dmv.community]

@sumisu yeah that's where I knew of him.

@pixelpusher220 love how Felix and Oscar are just watching in awe!

@pixelpusher220 he was an absolutely unbelievable player.

[sumisu@famichiki.jp]

@pixelpusher220 now I’ve gone off and listened to more of his playing. Really wish I could find his album “Stringin’ along with the blues” and Wikipedia mentions an amazing performance on the Jacky Gleason show which I can’t seem to find a recording or video of. And I found some stuff of him playing with Johnny Cash.
