@cstross I would pick anti-counterfeit markers like the EURion constellation (you'll need more than that, EURion alone doesn't trigger the alert) instead …

@cstross I would wear this

@cstross Make sure the GOP takes video of your shirt.

@cstross Reminds me of a time someone put sql injection text next to their license plate of their car to delete the entire stop light database, and it worked.

@cstross@wandering.shop Now I'm envisioning a large-scale cyberattack that uses a malicious QR code to distribute SCORPION STARE firmware.

@chikl @cstross Oh, cool. I’d seen the CV Dazzle project before, already linked in the thread, but wasn’t aware they’d done a bunch more work in the area.
…but also, they’re on mastodon. Maybe they’ll appreciate being looped into the thread? @adam_harvey

@farbenstau @mbirth @cstross Different pattern as in… the same dots but bot matching the relative locations of the constellation or guilloche style patterns that are typically also present on bank notes?

@nblr @mbirth @cstross Huh. I posted an answer to that, first it showed up thrice, then upon deleting the newest one, all three copies disappeared.
Let's try this again.
Scanners/photocopiers trigger on histogram values, even with all EURions edited out. So the next step would be a shirt with a color pattern that recreates the histogram value of actual currency, maybe with one or more EURions sprinkled across it for good measure. -
@Scurra@mastodon.social @cstross
Which jurisdiction?@midgephoto @cstross I'm in the UK; in central London mostly. And the page has been triggered a couple of times (not just by bots) which amused me.
