@withinity The local timeline is hidden away under the "Live feeds" button on the sidebar if you're using the web interface.

Peak hours (as I'm able to observe them) are generally around morning to noon on week days in the Americas and in European time zones, and the most significant peaks are during the day on Saturdays. There's no magic recommendation algorithm here so the way to get eyes on something is to post it when people are active (and to post to hashtags people follow).

She is developing a side scrolling game loosely based on Zelda 2. The demo for Enigma Hearts is out, and I've heard great things. Can't wait until I can find the time to play it. That's a good place to begin, I'd say.
