@SuneAuken about half of what the article accuses him of, I would consider positives (his support of Palestine among others), but yeah, he has a weird stance on Russia.

My exact reason for posting this. People will post his support of Palestine onto my timeline and forget that he is a genocide apologist as soon as it happens in Ukraine. Opposition to one genocide does not excuse making excuses for another.

Same with Chomsky's alleged anti-imperialism and Corbyn's social stance

@SuneAuken Russia is very effective at injecting it's own goals into anti-imperial western movements, like pro-Palestine action.

They are still the masters of grass-roots propaganda, however much they do fail in the modern military theater.

@SuneAuken Yeah. I like Varoufakis' economic policies quite a lot.

But he, like may others in the western modern left, have been co-opted by Russian "anti-imperialist" talking points.

Russia is still the master at infiltrating western anti-establishment grass-roots movements with it's own goals.
