I keep telling people who ask me how we can save the planet that it's not about turning off the lights in every empty room you find, and yet I also turn off the lights in every empty room I find.
@juliette to me, it’s also about that. Not only, but also. Because it’s a way of recognising that wasting resources is a bad idea, and we waste a resource if noone’s there to enjoy it being spent.
So keep turning off the lights in empty rooms, and continue to understand that this won’t be enough because what we need is symtructural change.
