Yuk - but you know this only too well...A good day here - met a friend for coffee earlier, which was lovely, and now we're sitting in the sun!
I was just doing a little work in the garden, but only trimming some straggly brambles - or they'd be attacking me when cutting the grass, today, tomorrow, sometime!It's looking like Cork is going to be getting the 'best' of the current warm weather here.
Anyway, have a Sunday 🫂!

Based on the number of flowers on the rest, we're going to have a serious crop of blackberries...

oooh, jammmm. and blackberry and apple crumble? i hope we get some this year and that the brambles don't all die
i'm already not great and this is the coolest day for the next 10, sigh. not sure about relief: hopefully we'll get to the river some morning at least. and maybe an a/c at some point, if they ever comes back in stock?? (probably january)
we do have cake though: husband used the "this is your last chance to put the oven on for at least a week" last night to make one

What flavour are we having this time?alas, just a small cake. but i have heard a rumour of fig biscuits?? (cake is apple and cinnamon with crumble topping)
re the river, not sure! we'd be trying somewhere new ... hopefully we shall see this week. and maybe swim!
