@texttheater I have a similar way of noting down my recipes.

@pinsk @texttheater That was my best guess too? But that’s a ton of sugar, an extra egg and scant flour. ???

@texttheater It's ridiculous that we still hold on to stupid measurements like cups and spoon sizes, though.

This is terrific, but where is your source about it having been developed "decades ago"? -

I think the top two rows aren't special, they're just steps without ingredients -

Excuse me, but a recipe is 3,000 words of turgid nostalgia interspersed with pop-up ads and increasingly shrill demands for your email address, whereas this appears to be a clear and concise set of procedural instructions for making brownies.

It's a cursed recipe, because it uses Hershey's cocoa!
Maybe that's why it was ignored?Isn't there a decent cocoa powder in the USA, or is Hershey's cocoa nothing like their stupid chocolate recipe? The butyric acid in Hershey's chocolate makes it disgusting. Vomit flavour.
I can't understand why their products are now sold in in recent years in Ireland. Are shops bribed to stock them?
Cadburys has gone poor since US takeover.@raymaccarthy @texttheater It could be that American tourists (and, these days, refugees) buy them?

@EI3JDB @texttheater
I don't think so.Actually US tourists /seem/ rarer than years ago, but I've not seen figures.
European & African refugees wouldn't want Hershey. I believe there are US refugees, but they are not eligible for asylum (yet!), so can only settle if they have a sufficiently close ancestor. -

I'm meeting a significant number of those recently.
