Pepe is Antifa. His creator, Matt Furie, was horrified that he was co-opted as a fascist meme and in 2017 killed the character off in the comic after a storyline involving Pepe having nightmares of being used that way.

There's a documentary about Furie's attempt to reclaim Pepe called "Feels Good, Man". Furie also sued to keep fascists from making money off Pepe.

Pepe is antifa.

Maybe Portland frogs will help bring Pepe's good feels back.
