And then the 'what happens next' has to be determined by the younger generations. That, I think, needs to be the priority for a *lawful* reckoning to happen.
I am hoping the *ethical* reckoning doesn't happen first.

These people are not salvageable. "Reckoning" has to mean that they're given a choice between asset-seizure and exile or life in prison.@ferricoxide @gleick Otherwise they will just disappear into the wilderness and reappear again later.
