I am also feeling 'out of sorts' today, and very much not myself.
Irritable and stressed, probably due to that old chap spouting racist crap in the supermarket yesterday.@Maker_of_Things
I missed hearing that. Sorry it's having a bad affect on you

Good morning worlds!
It is bin day.
Pink - food and garden waste.
Brown - bottles, cans, and plastic food tubs.I am going to meet Sue at work in a bit. Then I will work out how best to view the eclipse this evening.
I also have to figure out what else I can get onto the trailer for the next load into Wales.
@Maker_of_Things
Bore daOur bins are out of sync. We have
Black for general waste
Brown for food waste today.Good luck with sorting out your next load to move.
Have a good day!

Irritable and stressed, probably due to that old chap spouting racist crap in the supermarket yesterday.@Maker_of_Things Fucking racists! I had an evening with my racist brother last night. The amount of absolute shite they spout is depressing.
Even when you shut them down with facts, they still keep spouting as before.
Depressing as fuck.
At least we are not seeing him again.
Apologies for the language.

Irritable and stressed, probably due to that old chap spouting racist crap in the supermarket yesterday. And I have just had Mum shouting for me. I ran down down to check only to find that she was worried I was late because I hadn't been down to get her bins. It was only 8:10am, and I am not usually getting her bins until about 8:30 or later!
I was busy doing laundry.I am sure that her internal clock is running fast given how much earlier she gets up for breakfast, and goes to bed at night.

@Maker_of_Things I'm so sorry you had to deal with racist bullshit yesterday. I know I can't make it better, but maybe I can divert you with a tale of our former trash day ritual? When we lived with my parents, they were retired and Trash Day was sacred because they didn't have hobbies and so Trash Day was a weekly holiday where everyone was reminded at least six times and pestered and re-reminded and everyone got in each other's way and it was this whole obnoxious thing. ->

Your language is understandable.
It's so depressing. Sadly my dad is like that. At least we know the cause: The Daily Fail!!!!It's depressing to think that so many people are like that, even ones you care about.

@Maker_of_Things my hubby got thoroughly sick of trash day and began to sabotage it by doing everything earlier and earlier, beating my parents to it, having the entire thing taken care of before they even started asking, so that they didn't have a chance to start scrambling and doing their anxious dance around the house 2 days in advance. As a cherry on top, he and Dad started trying to race each other to get the bins put out, resulting in some absurd trash can espionage. Quite silly by the end
-
@Steampunk_Prof @skyfire747 @Maker_of_Things To be fair to my brother, he does think that Farrage is a twat, thinking only for himself.
The reading material of choice is the Sun. And some "social" media thing where others like him hang out. They were celebrating that the New IRA have declared civil war if all immigrants are not evicted from Ireland. Total bunch of fuckwits.

@skyfire747 @Steampunk_Prof @Maker_of_Things Don't get me started.....flat earthers have members all around the globe

Ended up having a bit of a cry in the church because I miss my Mother in Law.
I am an emotional wreck today.
Sue has suggested we run away to Bygone Times for a coffee and cake, and a mooch around.

Ha, yes, getting competitive over the trash nagging.Fortunately we are not quite so bad, but I do like to get it done within my routine time, but it is only 'my routine time' and no one else needs to be fussed about it.

A small redeeming quality. The Stun is another terrible use of paper. Liverpool have practically turned their backs on it due to the Hillsborough coverage and it showed in the Brexit voting.

@Maker_of_Things yeah that all makes sense. It *is* important, after all. It was just rather fun watching it turn into a comedy after having it fuel several days of needless anxiety every week for years. Hubby walking in after work and looking real smug "I beat your dad to the trash bins today" was just so strange and funny and such an *experience* all its own
lucky for them, they have all their trash to themselves again now. Sometimes hubby still tells me it's trash day. -

@Maker_of_Things I'm sorry, you're having a really rough time on a lot of fronts at the moment. I hope coffee and cake help.
