Can say that again indeed…
Greed, aggression and dominance seem what drives us unfortunately.

@CakesOfPan they made too many human babies, and wore it all out.

@CakesOfPan I know that's a funny exaggeration... But the world before humans was actually just brutal at any moment in life. Humans evolved out of this brutality, so it's no wonder our societies are the way they are.
So I think it's OK to appreciate the amount of engineering and dedication that went into preventing us from dying. Let's think how we can improve from here on.

@CakesOfPan I try to find some source of this in the Indo-european culture sweaping through Asia and Europe before some thousands of years. They were herders with a patriarchal structure that settled along climate lines and other advances successfully through their domineering behaviour. Their language is the source of what is widely spoken today.
If you structure around the male dominance of a tribe, and see a well-being in that for everyone else, than you could possibly end up here. -

@CakesOfPan people aren't all bad. Some are also gifted inventors.

@CakesOfPan HEHEHEHEHE. You would not hold that opinion long if you were forced to scratch your substinence out of all that nature daily. That wild doesn't give two shits about your comfort or suffering, and will gladly enter you back in the food chain as soon as it loses any fear of being shot at.
It's real damn easy to romanticize something you don't have to don't have to squat in daily.

@CakesOfPan so, let's build something else and not let our planet our life's and our visions be shaped by 10 people....

@kudra @CakesOfPan I'm not gone read someones books because someone else on the internet said it so.
So can you please elaborate what you mean by this and how the world before humans was not a brutal place?
Of course there always was beauty and cooperation but that doesn't change that the world by default was not a careless place where all beings just peacefully coexisted and all was good until humans started inventing stuff.
