Excited to go watch the Springsteen movie in the theater this weekend.

I remember asking for (and then getting) “The River" for Christmas and listening to it over and over again.

I was 15.

It was 1980.

I was already a big Springsteen fan. He was a poet, he was (to my ear) entirely original compared to what was out there.

Then buying “Nebraska” and listening to it when it came out in 1982.

It all made sense to me.

I was 17.

Excited to see the movie and relive those times from a distance.
