@randahl Agree on the principle however compared to tiktok, Instagram youtube and telegram the direct Real World impact of X spreading fake news, conspiracy etc feeding and growing the far-right bubble is negligible in my opinion.

@randahl It's difficult when the people you want to speak to - the public who don't know or care about the platform - are on twitter. The first step would be to regulate toxic media like twitter, all meta stuff... But that won't happen either.
I don't know why anyone would use X, Facebook, instagram etc. Why are people still on whatsapp - paying zuckerberg's horribly toxic company?

@randahl The problem is: X is still a gigantic platform where you still have tons over tons of people reading the stuff posted there. Without a ban (i am not sure this would be legally possible) or massive regulation of the platform it would be simply a bad decision to leave this communication channel to the AfD.
