@GeePawHill Except they are calling LLMs "AI", we don't have true AI yet because corporations stole all the resources from people who worked on the real AI development.

Think of all the impactful AI work that could have been done if even a portion of those *trillions of dollars* were put into useful *conventional/traditional" AI research!
Or into just ordinary computer science work, like security research and applicaiton.
Or heck; let's get *completely crazy* here: Housing the homeless, feeding the hungry, improved medicine and medical care, etc.
