Mary Shelley is getting spayed tomorrow! And then hopefully we’ll find her a home soon. She was an amazing mamacat, but now her kittens are all adopted and she’s ready to retire. (And by the time the kittens left, she really *was* ready to retire.

I took them to my vet, and he said, "This cat is a neutered male." Simone had had regular vet checkups for 9 years...and not one vet had noticed that she was actually he.

@LPerry2 @trixter Some years ago our vet asked us if we could take a blind cat, about 4 months old, which had been taken to her office after an accident and needed a home. A nice girl, Julia ... the vet was astonished when we came back with our baby for spaying and had to explain to her that there were little balls ...
