They work for META, fully knowing what kind of company it is they work for, don't they? "Working for money" doesn't mean they are not complicit.
@sibrosan @grayrattus @Roelmaalderink @bitsoffreedom Few years ago, when we still got the luxury to be able to choose which job we wanted to do, that may have been partly relevant.
But this days (thanks to the USA gov and a few bunch of billionaries), with the global economic situation making everything expensive, housing less affordable, etc, people are just happy to have a work and keep it. -

What do you mean "harass them"
The guy simply uses the product that their employer markets to the public, within their employer's guidelines for it.
Do you somehow suggest that this is not perfectly all right?

You mean *in your opinion* it is harassment and not funny.
I think that, to the extent that it can be considered harassment, it is not undeserved, since those people work for META, and moreover I find the videoclip both enlightening and funny.

Failing to do so and worse making fallacious excuses for them inevitably leads to the Banality of Evil. Their victims have a right to a life too.

@grayrattus @Roelmaalderink @bitsoffreedom Even assuming that one could not live anywhere else on the planet but in Amsterdam (poor soul!), there are plenty of jobs in Amsterdam that do not involve taking a job at a corporation that has been complicit in multiple genocides like Meta is.

@fubaroque Precies. Het is geen moeilijke vraag. Als tiener besloot ik al niet voor onethische bedrijven te werken en dat heb ik nooit gedaan. Deze mensen kunnen dat ook doen. Anders zijn ze medeplichtig. Geld boven alles.

Diese Entscheidung, die Sie als Jugendlicher getroffen haben bedeutet für jeden etwas anderes und hat sehr unterschiedliche Konzequenzen. Grundsätzliche Teile ich diesen Gedanken, aber wem die Wahl tatsächlich fehlt (das Überleben, ist keine Wahl), dem fehlt zumindest in diesem Moment die Alternative. Allerdings muss man sich trotzdem jederzeit nach einer Alternative umsehen, wenn es nicht mit dem Gewissen vertretbar ist. -

Es geht hier nicht um den Kapitalismus, nicht um Arbeiter die schikaniert werden, weil sie für den "bösen Kapitalismus" arbeiten, sondern um die Herstellung von Grundrechtsverletzenden Waren (Waffen, gegen Freiheits- und Menschenrechte) die sich die Gesellschaftskritik auch bei den herstellenden Mitarbeitern durch solche "Anspielungen" gefallen lassen müssen. Ja, belästigend für Mitarbeiter diese Blosstellung des Produktes durch sie zu ertragen, schlimmere Konzequenz für die Gesellschaft!
