    @RedKoba @TwoClownsEating @michaelgemar @amydiehl you're not writing in Spanish tho. You're writing very offensive English.

        70.5% of Starbucks baristas are women. Starbucks now requires them to perform additional emotion labor by writing a personal message on customers' cups. If not sufficiently nice, they are disciplined. They must perform friendliness but make it look spontaneous. https://qz.com/emotional-labor-starbucks-baristas-green-apron-service-051926

        @amydiehl

        No surprise that "performing friendliness," made to look spontaneous, is neither a requirement for nor practiced by Starbucks CEO.

            Ok, so I'm going to explain how this works.

            Fuck off, or I will increasingly amp up the insult levels every time you reply, you miserable, shit eating cunt.

            It's not a debate, it's an experiment now.

                @RedKoba @quixoticgeek @TwoClownsEating @michaelgemar @amydiehl Here's the thing - I'm reminded of when in French class, a bit of English speaking students would look up words in French that were curse words in English for fun.

                But this isn't that - this is you randomly dropping out of English into your native language...for a worse reason.

                    To be honest, I regret being offensive. I want to apologize, but I can't with all that emotional-woke/american (and european) ideology BS. It makes me want to go deeper. But this is enough; I'm attacking the wrong people. I'm sure everyone has good intentions, and sorry.

                                        @quixoticgeek @TwoClownsEating @michaelgemar @amydiehl As a fellow Spanish speaker: we do not claim this asshole.

                                        While he's right that it's a normal word in Spanish for the color, anyone with a basic level of English literacy understands the implications it has outside of it and would refrain from its use unless it's _very_ justified.

                                        Hell, even in Spanish it can have some racist connotations. Its use by this individual was very deliberate and has earned him a block.

                                          @amydiehl welp, there's another reason to stop going to Starbucks. I normally don't, except as a treat or on a long drive, but this makes me want to take it further off the list. Stupid corporations playing stupid games... ugh.
