      Last week I peeled off some protective film on a device I'd had for over a decade.
      Because I finally noticed it.

                  @jrconlin @tychotithonus it's like a free upgrade, taking it off after a few years! Leaving it on is an investment in your future glee.

                      There was a film in the 70's where one of the new tasks Satan did was add extra pins to garments. Now that pins are no longer used, I like to think he adds protective film to obscure parts.

                        I once 'fixed' a friend's display by peeling off the protective film. They were upset that the text was distorted.
