      I love my LifX bulbs, but, they're individually addressed. Any time I want to add a new AP or otherwise need to update SSIDs and/or passwords, I need to re-run setup on two-dozen+ lightbulbs. At least with my Hues, I really only need to configure the bridge and all the other lights just follow.

            @db zigbee bulbs work better and are more energy efficient 😉

              @db I had a smart bulb in my apartment that needed to turn off and on in rapid succession 10 times in order to enter pairing mode. The knob on the lamp swapped between 3 settings (off, low, on) so turning off and on wasn't fast enough via that method. And it wasn't connected to a light switch, which meant I had to repeatedly pull the plug out of the outlet and jam it back in to get it to work

                  @ralph @db Being on land and not going into a volcano sounds reasonable to me.

                  @SebastianSolidwork @ralph @db

                  AND, OR, XOR… too many options.

                    @db@social.lol I'm sure you already know this, but some GE lamps had an amazing method to perform a factory reset (I think it's been patched in newer firmware, or at least in newer bulbs): https://youtu.be/NiPH9jrWh9g

                      @Amgine @ralph @db I know this problem! ❤️
                      I meant AND, but wonder how true+false for OR and XOR would work.
                      At least for human. I guess it works for living beings from hydrothermal vents.
