28 03 26Zero stories in the #BBCNews app today
But you can read the story of people whose skin "is falling off" (story # 4)
Can't argue with those news priorities.

28 03 26@Geri I heard it mentioned on the radio news yesterday evening.
As per usual, lying Mr Plod claimed the attendance was 10% of that stated by the organisers.

Stephen Yaxley-Lennon? Yeah, I'm sure he'll pull another stunt and that the media will eat it up.
They'll bash some heads to make sure there are arrests to drive it up the algorithms.

@Geri @TCatInReality He’s coming back from the USA then: remember he had to leave the UK because he was under death threat he claimed…’evidenced’ by posting a recording supposedly of the cops advising him of the threat. Did they catch the perp, or was the threat and recording an acted thing for attention? His account continues to post hideous racism while he lives it up in the USA.

28 03 26@Geri as fully expected the met failed to spot around 450,000 people though. Hands up anyone who didn't expect that.

Oh, I see Yaxley-Lennon is on a work trip in America. Coordinating with his allies in the rightwing globalist movement

28 03 26Reminds me of the decades of ignoring the biggest annual peaceful march in central London...
Before the modern protests caused by the Far Right rise LGBT folk organised Pride since 1967 and never covered on the news before the mid 2000s

Bedford Greens were there, they agree with your assessment of numbers, and the lack of media coverage

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cqxdzn2evv5o@TCatInReality @Geri It’s interesting he was able to go at such apparently short notice…. His ESTA thing should have flagged up his multiple convictions, and his double barrelled name should have also delayed processing. But he ‘fled’ to Europe and was in the USA in about a week. Normally, the ESTA means anyone with criminal convictions of the type he has would be excluded. Maybe we don’t live in ‘normal’ times any more, especially not those in the USA.

Yaxley-Lennon already had a standing ban in the USA for trying to enter on a fraudulent passport years earlier.
Someone powerful waived that to admit him to America on short notice.
Now, who would want that?
