This is the American system of government operating exactly as it was designed to operate. SCOTUS was all about Dred Scott and Fugitive Slave Laws and poll taxes for generations before it was suddenly against them.
If the so-called "American people" want protections from SCOTUS and favorable legislation from Congress and favorable policy from the Administration, then they can dole out the bribes and donations and free vacations for them like anyone else.
Because that's how our two-century-old Constitution works. The people making the decisions are above every law except the laws that they enforce on themselves. They can even rape children, if no one really complains.
Or we could maybe _change_ the Constitution? But the people who like the current way things work are opposed to that.

@VeroniqueB99 Maybe we should be testing pesticides on animals so we get irrefutable proof if they're harmful to us or not. No one can argue against an animal that has been given a specific chemical developing a horrible disease & dying. I suggest we use billionaires as the test animals.
