This is an advert.Anyhow I rage bought an actual wooden metronome

I got a second hand one, but there are some old school wooden metronomes still being made. I guess they look really good on top of a piano too.

Mechanical metronome is definitely better than an app. They look nice, sound nice, and they don't ring, buzz, advertise, or otherwise interrupt your music time. -

It's a 'Whittner', made in Germany. Mine was second hard, about 30gbp. There are new wood and wood effect ones here:

It's much nicer, I can go play outside in the shade too
