Don’t call it age verification.

@Npars01 @Tutanota
Did you know about this? Right after the new Fed chair, who is in the Epstein files, was confirmed. It didn't matter. In fact, it was a requirement.

Nope he isn't, you can text me privately to confirm what am talking about -
Don’t call it age verification. Call it centralised personal data collection. And understand that it serves surveillance, not safety for children.

@Tutanota I was a child, with a computer, and someintelligence. The one thing "Age Verification" won't do is protect children.
In fact, there is a strong chance it will endanger children. People will figure out how to manipulate it. Then, that predator "must be a child, since the system verified they are" and will be approved to access online spaces for kids.
That's before we even consider data breaches.

@Tutanota I would argue that it’s both. When you’re at home, do you let your kid surf the web on the PC unabated? If you do, then I can understand why this would be difficult to grasp. Most parents would monitor what their children have access to on the home PC so there is no reason why it shouldn’t be done on their mobile devices as well. Parents have had twenty years to do this and they failed, now the government will step in and do it for you.
@dademurphy @Tutanota I was given free reign on the web as a child in the 90s. Forgivable, people really didn't understand the internet at the time. However, that time is passed.
Parents should know better. They have parental tools. Use them. -

@dademurphy @Tutanota They will lock down all devices for everyone. Computer literacy will be even less. Experimentation is no longer allowed.
