Disagree.
The ones turning to AI have no respect for effort and no real interest for learning. They THINK they wanna be able to draw.
People still learn. In fact, the hatred for AI even pushed new people to start drawing.
Because the shittiest hand made drawing is worth more than all the ai slop on the planet.@raccoon @benroyce I'm with you. I only fear of a future where GenAI snuffs out motivation from our youth to practice and develop skills over years, decades even, to reach a point where Terry is at and still keep learning.
Anyway, my point was that GenAI is no good, learning a skill -- and mastering it -- to delight others is good. Terry is an actor I like and I did not know he had a skill like this. Now I like him even more.

As a teenager in #Flint #Michigan he was a courtroom sketch artist. He got an #arts #scholarship to college but switched to #football. His #NFL football career was meager, he was constantly cut from rosters. So to survive financially he did locker room commissioned portraits of his teammates
