The owner didn't need to speak; the dog handled the entire situation
@Rainmaker1973 Alt text: Person using a guide dog enters a busy subway train. The dog goes right to the reserved seat and noses the person sitting there, who immediately grabs his bag and stands, holding the folding seat down for the person with the dog. All happens in just a few seconds with no fuss.

Filmed from the vision-impaired person's point of view, their guide dog (labrador?) leads them into an underground rapid transit carriage, nudging the person sitting on a priority seat to get up and let the owner sit down. The dog sits too and cosily nestles in between the owner's legs, showing a clear bond and understanding between the two. -

@Rainmaker1973 Kudos to that passenger who immediately knew what to do.
@adhdeanasl @Rainmaker1973 don't pat service dogs while they are working though

@munkisquisher Nobody patted the dog. The man seated moved his hand down to grab his bag. Might have made contact with the dog, but didn’t pet. @Rainmaker1973

@adhdeanasl @Rainmaker1973 ah all good good! Looked on first watch that he was giving it a scratch under the chin and stopped when he realised it was a service dog.

It takes a lot of effort to train those dogs, and then they are carefully selected for service.
And the dogs are really good looking too.

Oh he was holding the seat down! I was wondering about that. Utterly decent fellow. -

@stragu
The only option is to block it. No alt text, no credit.
